Due to Covid-19 virus' affect on the season, many aspects of normal play are affected. Please read the following information so you are aware of Union County Volleyball Club policies and Palmetto Region policies for dealing with Covid-19 virus.

Note: This policy is only applicable if our season is ended by the Club, Palmetto Region, USAV or State of South Carolina due to Covid-19. Our standard refund policy as contained in the Player/Parent contract cover all other refund requests.

REFUNDED ITEMS
·         Tournament entry fees of cancelled events (which varies per team based on the event and can range between $150 and $1000 based on location (downtown/large city); length of event (1, 2, or 3 day); and/or type of event
·         Unused coach travel expenses (which varied based on travel distance, length of event, and location of event)    
·         Unused charges for practice facilities if refunded to the club
·         Unused coaches stipends.

Please note: Tournament hosts typically do not refund 100% of the tournament registration fees prepaid in the early fall (as most had overhead costs or prepaid costs that were also nonrefundable).  
 
NONREFUNDABLE ITEMS
·         Tryout fee 
·         Uniforms and warm-ups 
·         Prepaid coach stipends 
·         Education/Training Fees (as required by USAV Volleyball and WEVA)
·         Dues/Subscriptions to USAV

Club Practice Policy for Covid-19

The following measures will be taken at all practices to help keep our players safe from Covid-19
-          Temperatures will be taken with a no touch thermometer before entering practice.
-          Players will be asked if they are having any symptoms, have been in large crowds or traveled                     out of state.
-          Personal water bottles or bottled water will be required. Fountains will not be used.
-          Hand sanitizer will be distributed and used at breaks throughout practice.
-          Balls, carts and equipment will be wiped down and sanitized at the end of practice.
